Well, the course is now closed for over-seeding. Let's hope the weather corporates and the wind stays away. I believe that we really have an advantage this year thanks to the back nine cart paths. It allows us to over-seed the front nine first, which we haven't been able to do in the past. The front nine is effected much more by the wind than the back nine is. Therefore, by doing it first, hopefully we can get it done before the winds start blowing the seed around as it did last year. It should also help us by getting better irrigation coverage if we can get it done before the wind hits. It should also help us somewhat on the back nine as well, because the back nine holds the moisture more because it is better protected from the wind. By doing it first, we have always had some disease problems on holes number 10, 11 and 12, which hopefully, we won't have by doing it last.
