We're still going strong on the over-seeding. As of right now, we have holes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9 done on the front side. If all goes as planned, we are hoping to have everything finished sometime Friday. Mind you, that's working 12 hours every day. I'll worry about the labor budget later. Then we get to start on all the other fun stuff we need to do before opening. Things such as edging paths and bunkers, getting markers, ball washers, posts, benches, etc. painted and cleaned. Getting fertilizer applied and all the new supplies ordered and put out. Making sure we have enough rakes for bunkers and the new flags, flag poles, spike brushes, tee towels. Well, I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea.
It looks like we are going to have some challenges getting the seed to germinate in the middle of # 5 green again this year. I sure hope we get the approval to start replacing the green sprinklers next year.
