Oh Boy, Over-seeding is finished and the course opens tomorrow morning. All in all, I think the course looks pretty good. That's not to say we still don't have some issues to contend with, but fortunately the greens filled in quite a bit these last few days, thanks to all the extra work we did on them. Number 5 still has some spots, but it's a 1000 % better than it was a week ago. The greens are rolling at between 6.9 and 7.5, which I think is fantastic for opening day.
We really didn't have any major equipment failures this year, but we sure had our share of irrigation problems. It was a long, hot, hard 6 weeks of over-seeding, but it will all be worth it if our members enjoy it as much as I think they're going to this season.
