Seems like today is a day of waiting. We're waiting for the new tee towels to come in, the greens fertilizer, the green dye for the divot sand and 30 more bunker rakes to be delivered, not to mention that we're waiting for the spot seeded areas to germinate and fill in. Speaking of which, today we hand top-dressed every thin spot in every green in an attempt to make them as smooth as we can. They will be slow for the first couple of weeks. We have them mowed at 1/8" but will need to wait until the weather cools down and some areas fill in a little before we can lower them to our winter height.
