I think winter is upon us. It was sure cold enough this morning. We actually has ice that was formed on several areas around the golf course. I was hoping that the weather would stay warm for a few more weeks to continue establishing our new turf and help it grow, tiller and thicken. With the ropes starting to come down today and the fairways getting all the traffic, let's hope the weather warms back up and we don't get a heavy frost for awhile. That could really set us back.

I will be at regional meetings for the next couple of days and will not be posting until I return. I do want to say that I was glad to hear from so many different members that they have started reading my blog and are enjoying it.
