What a nice steady rain yesterday. Just over 1-inch total. That will sure help in leaching the sodium (salts) out of the soil. Salts have a tendency to "lock up" nutrients and chemicals in the soil, so leaching them out is a good thing. Now, lets hope we have some cloud coverage or that the wind blows all night, because if we don't, with all this moisture, we could be in for a deep freeze tonight and that's not a good thing.
Fortunately though, other then tons of debris to clean up, we didn't have too much damage from the storm. Just the usual stuff, like the driveway flooding and washing out some flowers along the entrance. We also had some slight damage caused by the homeowners drains that are plugged up on holes number 14 & 16, and some washed bunker faces, but nothing serious.
