Today we will be lightly top-dressing the greens to smooth them up and help out with the ball marks. A reminder that our "Divot Party" has been scheduled for Friday the 26th. Check with the Pro Shop for the time and to sign up.
I will be off the remainder of this week to attend the GCSAA (Golf Course Superintendents Association of America) National Conference & Show in San Diego. This is a great event for our profession. It is a week long conference with over 150 educational classes to continue your education and the largest gathering of golf course equipment and supplies in the world. I truly look forward to improving my education, talking to many of my peers and seeing whats new in the industry each and every year.

Played today - Saturday Feb 13 and I just wonder why the grass on the tees are as long as the rough. The condition of the teeing areas along with the lousy bunkers are a disgrace. We must not have mowers for the tees!!!!!!!!!!!!
