I received this email from our Head Pro Jennifer this morning and wanted to post it along with my response.

The Derby committee would like to request a few things.
Tee box on #11, 12 and 14 on the white men's marker.
Also the green speed did come up. They say they are very slow
right now. If at all possible can we get them a little faster , but making sure the practice green is the same speed for consistency.

No problem with the tee marker locations.
As for the green speed, with the jump in temperatures this last week, the greens had a flush of growth and are growing much faster (which cannot be controlled), therefore they are currently a little slower. We will do everything we can to get them sped back up. We are scheduled to lightly top-dress the greens on Tuesday the 23rd as we anticipated a warming trend and growth spurt in late March, and we also plan to double cut one, two or even all three days if necessary. That should speed them back up.
The putting green is always maintained exactly the same as any other green and should always be consistent in speed.
