You may have noticed that the dogs have not been on the course the last few days. That is because last week we had an unfortunate incident that happened and the dogs have been temporarily banned from the golf course. Harry was running the dogs last Tuesday when he stopped for some golfers getting ready to hit. One of the four golfers came over to the cart to say hi to Harry and Lady, and as he did, Badge ran behind the other golfer, who was addressing his ball, on her way back to the cart. The golfer yelled and stated that Badge had bitten him in the back of his leg. He was very upset and said that the dogs shouldn't be allowed on the golf course. We had a similar situation like this over a year ago. When that happened, the golfer called animal control and they came out to review what had happened. In that incident, animal control had determined that it was not a bite, but a claw mark on the back of the gentleman's leg. They stated that often when a person is surprised by an animal and instantly feel any kind of pain, they assume that they were bitten, when actually they were not. However, in this case, to my knowledge, the golfer did not go to the doctor, so we may never know what exactly happened. We will just have to wait and see how this unfolds.
