This morning we had a hydraulic-line break on the fairway mower on the 15th fairway. It was right above the back reel, which made it spread out wider then the actual leak was. And it was located behind the driver, making it impossible to see until he turned around and headed back in the other direction. By then, it left a 50 yard long by 2.5 feet wide spill going diagonally across the fairway. We applied the treatment to neutralize the spill, but that usually doesn't do much as it is the heat from the oil that burns the turf. We'll just have to wait to see how bad it is and then try to patch it up next week if possible. It will suprise me if it doesn't turn bright yellow after a few days.
We also noticed that we were getting some Clover on #3 ladies tee, so we sprayed it today. We will probably need to treat it a second, and maybe a third time before we get a good kill.
