Yesterday morning we had a hydraulic leak right down the center of # 1 green. The guy did a great job of spotting it about half way across the green, but unfortunately it continued to leak until he got off the green and shut the mower down. We were somewhat lucky that it happened when it did. It could have happened early in the year and we would have had to live with it throughout the season, or tried to sod it, which always leaves it somewhat uneven. But being that we are still in the middle of transition and that we will be fertilizing them heavy and aerifing them in less then two weeks, along with the heavy top-dressing we will be applying, it will help it recover much quicker.
