This cold weather and frosty mornings are really setting us back. I have 8-tons of fertilizer sitting here in the shop waiting to be applied, but we are unable to because we need enough time to put it out and water it in before play starts. We would need to delay play another 1.5 hours in order to do that, and that would not make golfers very happy. We had to hold off play the last two days until about 8:20 AM as it is. Even if we were able to get the fertilizer applied, it wouldn't do a whole lot of good until the soil temperatures warm up enough to activate the plant to uptake the fertilizer.
