We have installed some fencing along the lake in an attempt to keep the coots off of some particular areas. It seems to be helping so far, so we will continue adding to the length of the fence. Eventually we would like to have the entire lake fenced off except for an area on the North end where they will not cause damage to the course. I'm afraid that if we fenced the entire lake, they would hop or fly over it and defeat the purpose.
