It's been interesting tracking the soil temperatures over the last week. On Wednesday December 28th the soil temperature was 44-degrees and nothing was growing. Then the weather started warming up and so did the soil temperatures. On Saturday December 31st it was 47-degrees and on Monday January 2nd it was 50-degrees. By Tuesday January 3rd it was 54-degrees and you could see the turf starting to come back to life. Everything is starting to green up slightly because the soil is now warm enough for the turf to become active and start taking in some of the nutrients from the fertilizer that we applied. This warming trend has sure helped us out. Let's hope it keeps it up.
