I was asked by the golf committee yesterday if we thought the decoy coyotes and streamers around the lakes actually did any good and if we could take them down because they look so ugly. Our answer was that we know they do nothing for the coots, but we were not sure how much of an effect they had on keeping the geese and other ducks away. We all agreed to have them taken down and monitor the situation to see what happens.
