This morning we treated all the greens with a pre-emergence herbicide for Crabgrass control. With the enlargement of the greens last summer, there was very little Tifdwarf Bermuda under the enlarged areas. Anywhere you have weak turf you will get Crabgrass. We know that we will not get complete control in one season and that we will have Crabgrass in the greens this summer. However, we are hoping to keep it to a minimum and keep it from spreading throughout the green.
