Well, I know it's only been a week that I've been working with Tim, but I'm still real excited. Tim appears to be more aware of the property surroundings and seems willing to provide the means to get it back to where it once was. That's a real plus for our club. There have been so many little things that have been neglected due to one reason or another. I believe that Tim is really going to try his best to get what he can corrected.

Now, on to the golf course. We are in the process of getting everything lined up and ordered for over-seeding. Every year it amazes me as to how much there is to get done just to prepare for over-seeding, let alone doing the actual process of over-seeding. Today we shut off the water on the greens and the entire front nine. We also coordinated with the Coachella Valley Vector Control on treating for Fire Ants. This year we have them scheduled for September 17th. I also have several meetings scheduled with suppliers this week for getting prices on starter fertilizer for the greens and fairways, cups, flag sticks, ropes, stakes, trash baskets, spike cleaners, bunker rakes, etc. etc.
