The regional meetings I just attended went pretty well for the most part, other then the fact that I got a nasty head cold. Our two topics were the budget and our cost savings through the early order programs available to us this year. The main discussion with the budget was how much of an increase we would need for water this year, as everything else was to be budgeted flat to what we actually spent last year. The early order programs offer some substantial saving on a number of products, provided that you need those products.
Shifting gears slightly, it appears that the gates are being used by the majority of our players so far, and I was pleased to see that the green speed has increased to over 9 since we lowered the mowers and top-dressed them.
