We have a bunch of member and club events coming up over the next several weeks and we also have a lot of maintenance items scheduled in between those events. We want to make sure the course is in as good of condition as it can be. On February 26th we will have the divot party. On February 22nd, March 9th and March 22nd we will be fertilizing the greens. On March 1st and March 23rd we will be lightly top-dressing the greens to fill in ball marks and smooth them up. On the evening of March 4th we will be leaving the irrigation water off because we will be treating for the Fire Ants on March 5th. Also on the evening of March 4th S.C.Edison will be shutting off the power to the clubhouse and our irrigation pumps to replace a relay switch. I was glad that we were able to schedule both at the same time.
