Every day you can see more and more Rye grass and less Bermuda grass in the fairways. It's still going to take awhile before we look great, but we will be happy we did this come that first frost. Just remember, our Bermuda is under control so this should be as bad as we are going to look all winter.
The next dilemma is the ropes. We promised the ladies that we would allow carts on the fairways for the ladies guest day on November 11th. The question now is do we keep the ropes down from that point on, or do we put them back up and restrict traffic again until the Orange Ball Tournament on November 15th. Either way we are going to get some opposition. I hear from half the membership that we should keep the ropes up as long as we think necessary, while the other half can't wait to see them come down. Tim is going to meet with a few board members this afternoon to try to get a consensus.
