Yesterday, Tim and I met with our Regional VP Jim Oliver and Regional Superintendent David Hay to discuss the bunker project. We narrowed the contractor selection down to two local contractors from the original five selected. We choose these two mainly because they don't have the huge expense of moving equipment in from distant locations, they are eager for the work and also because we have worked with both of them in the past, giving us a larger degree of confidence in their ability. We asked both contractors to submit bids based on a particular scope of work so that both bids would be based on exactly the same things. Once we get the bids back we will be able to choose a contractor and determine exactly what we will be able to complete this year with our allotted capital dollars. We originally selected an August start date for this project so that we would be as least interrupting to our members as possible, and we are right on schedule.

Tom-
When are the two new bids due to you and when in August will the work begin; also, could you generally comment on the scope of work. Are we engineering the traps- so that they have drains, liners, etc?
