We are starting to see a lot of coots again this year. I just wish that there was more that we could do. Our "Bird Man" is out here 5 days a week trying to chase them off, but unfortunately, some homeowners are apparently still feeding them. The harassment from the bird man is effective, because we have not noticed any coot or duck problem at any of our other lakes. We only seem to have a problem at the main lake between holes 9 & 18 where they are apparently getting fed. I guess it's worth getting harassed every day for free food. We are going to get some "Do not feed the ducks" signs made up to place along the lake edge to see if that helps.
