When we got in to work this morning, we discovered that our 250 hp Well Pump was not working. The main irrigation lake between 9 & 18 was pretty low so it had been off for awhile. After checking all the usual stuff, like for a power outage or a blown fuse, we discovered that the main irrigation pump station had faulted. It appears that our 3 hp pressure maintenance pump is in need of repair. It's always something. Fortunately, we were able to get everything else back up and running and we will still be able to water everything until we can get it repaired. We'll have to get our pump guys out sometime next week to see what the problem is.
We lowered the height of cut on the greens by 1/32 of an inch for this mornings cut. We checked the speed right after they were mowed and they were rolling at 8.1, which I think is fantastic for only opening the course a week ago.
