We got some great news yesterday afternoon. Ed Salcedo, our crew foreman who has been off work for the last month or so to have quadruple bypass surgery, has been cleared to come back to work this Saturday November 1st. It sure will be nice to have Eddie back.
Now, to the course stuff. We lowered the height of cut on the greens by another 1/32" for tomorrow mornings cut. The height we are cutting the greens at as of tomorrow morning will be 0.109 inches (or around 7/64 of an inch). We may try to lower them one more time before the Orange Ball Tournament and then we will probably need to hold it at that height until the weather really drops off.
