We are still waiting for the belt to repair our top-dresser. We're hoping it will be in today or tomorrow. We would really like to get the Driving Range Tee seeded and top-dresses while we still have some warm weather.
We took delivery of 5 tons of fairway fertilizer yesterday so we can try to give the Rye grass a little kick before it gets too cold. But this is always a tough decision to make this time of the year because if it stays this warm for too long after we apply the fertilizer, it could fire the Bermuda grass back up, which you do not want. To be cautious, we will go out at a lighter rate and then come back in two weeks or so and hit it again. Hopefully that will boost the Rye and not be enough to restart the Bermuda.
