After checking the soil temperatures today and finding out that they are almost high enough for the plant to start up-taking nutrients, we decided to see if we can try to take advantage of this warm spell. I just ordered 7 tons of fertilizer that we will try to get applied as soon as we can. This should really give it a kick. Let's just hope the weather stays warm for at least another week.
It is also warm enough now that we started top-dressing the greens today to help smooth them up and fill in some of the ball marks without worrying that they will get ridiculously fast.
