It looks like we finally might be getting some decent weather for a change. The average temperature for February is around 75 degrees and I don't think we've hit over 65 degrees yet this month. Almost every night the temperatures have been low enough that we have had borderline frost conditions. You can just see the poor turf out there is trampled by all the cart traffic and it just isn't growing back. Maybe now we can get the grass growing again.
It looks like we might have gotten hit in several areas with a little disease also. We have treated the areas and have thrown some more seed, fertilizer and top-dressed some of the worst places, especially on some of the green banks. All we can do now is hope that the weather warms up and stays that way for awhile.
