I apologize for not posting as often lately. I have been so busy between Jury Duty and several different projects that I am currently working on. I am still trying to get our "Off Road Diesel Reporting" finalized with the state, working on getting the annual reviews for all my employees done and preparing for a Department of Pesticide Inspection next week. I also have been asked by the Hi-Lo Golf Course Superintendents Association to give a talk at the Classic Club this afternoon.
Last week we had our Regional Meetings for ClubCorp at Indian Wells Country Club. We were informed that 50% of ClubCorp's properties had to become Audubon Certified by the end of this year and all properties have to be certified by the end of 2010. We were also told that all properties must have the certification process at least started by the end of this year.
Audubon Certification is a very involved, report laden, time consuming 7-step process, that the corporate office feels is a must to make our company environmentally friendly, especially now that we have a Democratic President, House and Senate.
