The course was open all weekend and the comments so far have been strictly positive. The greens have filled in nicely, although they will be rolling a little slow for a while. This year we were able to mow them several days at 1/8th inch height, which put them rolling at just over 7 on the stemp meter. Last year at opening they were rolling at 6.4 on the stemp meter. So it's a nice improvement.
I'm sure the next big question I will be bombarded with is "when will the ropes come down"?
Unfortunately, I can't answer that question right now. There are just too many variables. If all goes right, we are hoping that we can have them down in a couple of weeks.
