Well, after these last three mornings of frost, I think it's pretty safe to say that right now, this should be about the worst the course looks all season. If that holds true and we don't get some crazy unexpected weather, we should be looking at some pretty nice conditions going forward.

With this colder weather and with nothing growing, things have somewhat slowed down for us. It's a good thing though, because our crew is rather short handed right now. Our Foreman Ed is still on medical leave until sometime in January. We have two guys that are taking some vacation time because we try to spread it out so that everyone isn't gone in August when we need them most. Our irrigator Victor is off for the next few days because his sister just passed away. (we don't have any details yet) And my Assistant Richard got called in for Jury Duty today. But I guess this is about as good a time of year to be short as any.
