I found this rather interesting and wanted to share it with you.
Did you know that the average temperature in May this year was 100.2 degrees and the average temperature so far in June has been 92.7 degrees? Hmmm

This will be my last post until mid July because I will be taking some much needed vacation time. I am so excited because I am finally taking the vacation I have been dreaming of my entire life. I am off to Alaska! I start by flying to Vancouver and hopping on a cruise ship for a 7-night cruise of the Inside Passage. We will be traveling to Ketchikan (where I’ll do some Salmon fishing) to Juneau and Skagway (where I do a glacier landing by helicopter), then Icy Strait Point (where I’ll do some Halibut fishing), then cruise the Hubbard Glacier and finish up in Seward. I then disembark the ship and embark on a 4-day land tour by motorcoach with stays at The Hotel Alyeska in Gridwood and two nights at the Grand Denali Lodge in Denali National Park. I then travel the Alaska Railroad to Fairbanks where the tour ends. From there, I take the train back south to Talkneetna, which is the town that the TV show “Northern Exposure” was based on, where I spend my final three days Salmon and Trout fishing. My flight leaves early tomorrow morning and I am scampering to get everything caught up, finished up and lined up before I leave. I feel like a kid the night before Christmas. See you all in a couple of weeks.
