Well, it's back to business as usual. We fertilized the greens yesterday and I was pleased to see that they are still rolling above 10 on the stimp meter. The Bermuda usually has a tendency to be a little slower then the winter Rye just because the grass blades are more coarse. We will also start aerifing fairways next week to help the Bermuda transition along. We have been repairing sprinklers left and right trying to keep up with all the transition "hot spots". We are still awaiting the final approval and delivery of the 100 new replacement sprinklers we have slated as our summer project this year. The economy has put a slight damper on all capital project approvals this year, so we'll have to wait and see what happens. The only other project we worked on was leveling number one ladies tee and I'm rather pleased with the results. I'm glad we decided to level it with constant top-dressing instead or totally rebuilding it. That was less costly with better results.
