There has been some discussion lately regarding the "Gate System". Quite a few members think we could improve the current system by removing two of the four stakes on each hole. The idea would be that you stay on the cart path at the tee end of each hole until you reach the first gate stake, then use the 90 degree rule, returning to the path before you reach the second gate stake on the green end of the hole. I personally really like this idea and believe it would not only be an easier and better system that would do a much better job of protecting our turf, but it would also be less time consuming and free up some time for my staff to do other things.

If you like the idea and think this is a better system, please convey your opinion to a Board of Governors, Golf Committee, Men's or Ladies Club member. If enough people state there approval, we can get this implemented.
