Well, if nothing else, the rain the other day got the Home Owners Association to start fixing the drains that run onto the golf course on holes 14 and 16. They completed 16 yesterday and hopefully will repair the one on 14 today. Now if we could only figure out something to do with the entrance driveway to the clubhouse to get it to drain. Believe me, we go back and look at it every time it rains to see what can be done. Unfortunately, we haven't found any real good solution to the problem yet, although we have improved the situation to the point that once the rain stops, it drains out pretty quickly. We are however, looking into one idea that might help reduce the depth of the water that sits in the driveway, but I doubt that it would eliminate the standing water completely. I'll have a better idea if it's feasible after I run some numbers and do a little more research.

On a good note, not having frost this morning was a nice surprise.
