I just wanted to post some information on why we are cutting the greens down and re-shaping them. Over the years they have lost their original size and shape, making it difficult to find a good and fair hole placement in some of the narrow fingers. By re-shaping them back to their original sizes, we will improve that situation and also improve the wear on the turf from always having the holes in the same location. We choose to re-shape them right now instead of waiting until we close for over-seeding for two reasons. If we waited until we closed, It would take us 6 or more days to get them prepped and seeded, instead of the usual 3 days. The enlarged areas would also have a different appearance from the rest of the green for the entire season if we waited. By doing them now, we eliminate those issues.
