I've been off work the last two weeks on my first week of vacation and my last week of UTO (unpaid time off)that is required of all salaried employees. I returned to find out that our Toro Sweeper has a blown engine. It's not really a huge surprise as it is a 1974 model. Repair costs will exceed $5,000 and I do have a problem putting that much money into a 36 year old piece of equipment. I am in discussions with out corporate office trying to convince them to purchase us a new one. We'll see how it goes as this is a necessity for over-seeding.
