We just put out another 7 tons of fertilizer on the fairways, tees and green banks and have another 4 tons on order. It probably won't have much of an effect until the weather warms up because the soil temperature is so low that the plant is not active enough to uptake the nutrients. But at least the nutrients are in the soil and will be available immediately once the soil temperatures rise and the turf does become active again. We have also fertilized the greens this morning and the same holds true for them. What I wouldn't give for a week of 80-degree days!
